How to add terms to the i‑HTS Glossary
This page explains how members of the EuroScan / i‑HTS community can propose and edit terms in the glossary at glossary.i-hts.org.
1. Who can contribute?
The glossary is a curated resource. To keep the quality of definitions high, editing rights are reserved for registered users who are part of the EuroScan / i‑HTS community or collaborating organisations.[web:115][web:142]
There are three main roles:
- Readers – Everyone can read and search the glossary without
an account.
- Registered contributors – Can create and edit glossary entries,
following the editorial guidelines.
- Editors / administrators – Review changes, harmonise
definitions and manage user rights.

2. Registration and access
To obtain an account with editing rights, follow these steps:
- Go to the glossary homepage: glossary.i-hts.org.
